We have a great technician-to-client ratio, which means you aren’t left looking
helplessly at a blue screen whilst we fix other people’s problems.
We know that when it comes to your IT, you want friendly and efficient service,
not a 'techie', who grunts, is unhelpful and never explains what they are doing (and
probably smells a bit too). We pride ourselves on an open and polite approach, with
smart technicians you can trust with access to your systems and network. They have lots
of qualifications as well, with major industry providers like CISCO and Microsoft.

Neill – Managing Director
Neill is the lucky one, getting to think big thoughts and make big promises before handing
over to the operations and technical services guys to deliver! Think Stuff Magazine with a
beard and an American accent.
Neill really loves technology. Particularly useful technology that we can then deliver to
clients. Matching technology to clients’ requirements is hugely rewarding and a lot of fun.
Consequently, RSS feeds and tech blogs make up most of his day.
Starting as a 1-on-1 consultancy service, he is now doing what he enjoys most and delivers best
- understanding our clients’ IT problems and then asking our technicians to solve them.
If it's new, applicable in business and has a USB socket, Neill knows about it.
In fact, he probably already tested it at home, broke it and fixed it repeatedly,
told the manufacturer what’s wrong with it, got the new version and emailed you about it.

Phil – Operations Director
This company does not run itself. Why would it need to when we have Phil?
Day in, day out, he keeps operations running smoothly, problems being fixed,
and the lights on (or off, depending on how ‘environmentally friendly’ he’s feeling).
Phil’s an avid sports fan, and longs for the day he can chat about changes to the LBW rule
with people around the office, as opposed to the usual office banter about the latest technology
he has no intention of ever owning or using.
From recruitment to construction project management, Phil knows how to run a business with
military precision and attention to detail. Just don’t ask him to fix your computer
("have you tried turning it off and on again?" or try and sneak 'miscellaneous items'
through on your company expenses).

John
As a marketing and communications specialist, John ensures BirchenallHowden’s business strategy
is pointing the company in the right direction and that we’re meeting our business growth
objectives. John worked for international marketing organisations before growing his own,
Paradigm, into one of Yorkshire’s most successful agencies, and his local knowledge and contacts
are invaluable to the business.
Martin
An expert on all things operational, Martin is an executive coach to a wide range of
international commercial, public and third sector organisations. He has many years of
experience as a Business Managing Director in the chemical's industry. Martin ensures
BirchenallHowden are pursuing the right avenues of business and then delivering them effectively.
Paul
The man with his hand on the financial tiller, Paul guides the company through tax returns,
audited accounts and discussions with the bank. Vastly experienced with an Auditing background
at Price Waterhouse and Grant Thornton, and a registered Chartered Accountant, Paul’s
knowledge of business finance is of immeasurable benefit to the company.
